Write a one-page acceptable AI use rule
Give a small team clear boundaries before asking everyone to experiment.
State what is allowed
Name approved tools, accounts, workflows, and data classes. Give examples of low-risk tasks that still require human review.
State what is prohibited
Prohibit unapproved accounts, confidential or regulated inputs, autonomous external commitments, invented sources, and publishing without an accountable reviewer.
Make correction easy
Tell staff how to report a mistake, unsafe output, exposed data, or unexpected tool behavior without hiding it. Review the rule when tools or plans change.
