Know whether the task touches customer, employee, financial, confidential, or regulated information. Start with fictional or low-risk examples.
Run the data checkKeep a person responsible
Assign one owner to review every output, correct errors, and stop the test. The tool should not make commitments to customers or staff on its own.
Take the readiness checkMeasure a short pilot
Compare time, edits, mistakes, and useful output with the current process. Keep the tool only when the evidence supports the recurring cost.
